Sailing Instruction Change

For those who are unaware, this series will not be scored as a series, so it has been decided that first part of Sailing Instruction #4 will not apply. Boats may choose to race spinnaker or non-spinnaker on a race-by-race basis. The prohibition against multiple headsails is still in effect.

MYC “Ohio Shoals” Race at Port Canaveral

The previously scheduled “Circumnavigation” race / cruise has been converted to a race starting and ending at Port Canaveral. The race will be held on July 25th, and the course will approximately 55 NM triangle. The exact course will depend on whether the scheduled SpaceX launch happens or not, as this will involve an exclusion zone that will prevent the originally planned course. It should make for a great show during the race, however!

Registration Fee is $35 if registered by 22 July. After that the Registration fee is $45.
