  1. I just moved from Georgia and am interested in learning to sail. I’m 34 and have been on a number of sailboats. I’m a novice sailor but I take directions well and can crank a winch. If anybody has an opening on their boat I’ll bring some beer.

I’m just looking to get out on a boat.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dylan

  2. Hello,
I’m in Indian Harbour Beach and available to crew for any of the upcoming races. I’ve been sailing occasionally for a long time, but it’s been a while. I took the ASA Keelboat Certification a year or so ago and have competed in the Everglades Challenge (Hobie Cat category).
    Thanks,
    Bill

  3. The best way to get started with the MYC events is to come to one of the Rum Race events on Sunday afternoon. If you show up around 12:30 or 1:00pm and let someone know that you are new and looking for a ride, they will make every effort to find a boat for you to go out on. They pride themselves on not leaving anyone behind who’s looking for a boat, but with the current state of affairs, it might be a little harder right now. If you make sure you have a mask with you, that will help.
